Patiala, December 24:
Member Parliament from Patiala and former Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Mrs. Preneet Kaur strongly condemned the Union Government for suppressing the voice of farmers as well as elected representatives, calling it as a sheer insult of the entire ‘Annadata’ of the country.
In a press release issued after her release from Delhi’s Mandir Marg police station, Patiala MP Preneet Kaur said that today Congress Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha members and Central Working Committee members and Youth Congress leaders led by Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, had scheduled march to the Rashtarpati Bhawan to submit a petition signed by over two crore farmers to the President for repeal of the anti-farmers laws. However, she said in an unprecedented action they were stopped by the Delhi Police out side AICC office.
She further said that after allowing the three Congress leaders to file the petition, the demand of the rest of the delegation to march up to the gate of Rashtrapati Bhavan, was also denied, which was the brutal murder of democracy.
Ms. Preneet Kaur said that this indifferent attitude of the Central Government towards the ‘Annadata’ of the country would go down in the annals of history as the most barbaric and condemnable action in the country. “Our Anandata is our pride and we will not sit until their demands are met,” she said. She added that Punjab Congress would never allow these black laws and the anti-farmer plans of the BJP led central government to succeed, which were aimed at destroying the agrarian economy and farmers of the state. She that they would ever stand firmly against the implementation of these draconian laws to save the farmers.
She lauded the efforts of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to set up Helpline 1091 and Police Helpline 112 to provide emergency help to the families of the farmers participating in farmers’ agitation for demanding their rights in spine chilling cold. The state government is standing firmly with the families of ‘Annadata’ who died during the ongoing struggle, she added.
Mrs. Preneet Kaur asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to roll back these black agricultural laws. She said that the sentiments of the farmers who were making the country self reliant from beggars in food production, should be respected and not forced to sit them on dharnas on the roads of Delhi border.

ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਐਸ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਵਿਕਰਮ ਜੀਤ ਦੁੱਗਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਵੀਂ ਪਹਿਲ ਕਰਦਿਆ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਉਮੀਦ ਸਪੋਰਟ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਫ਼ਾਰ ਵੁਮੈਨ ਐਂਡ ਚਿਲਡਰਨ ਜਿਸ ‘ਚ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਝਗੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਊਂਸਲਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ ਦਾ ਦਾਇਰਾ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੁਣ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਬਾਲ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਮੁਸਕਾਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਅੱਜ ਐਸ.ਪੀ/ਪੀ.ਬੀ.ਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਡਾ. ਸਿਮਰਤ ਕੌਰ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਡੀ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿਖੇ 18 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਿਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆ ਡੀ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ 18 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲੇਬਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਕ ਟੀਮ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਦਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੇਬਰ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ, ਜੋਤੀ ਪੁਰੀ ਸੀ.ਐਚ.ਟੀ ਐਜੂਕੇਸਨ ਡਿਪਾਟਮੈਟ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ, ਡਾ: ਸੰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਅਫਸਰ ਏ.ਪੀ ਜੈਨ ਹਸਤਪਾਲ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ, ਰਣਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਪੀ.ਓ, ਪੁਨੀਤ ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਪੀ.ਓ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਮੈਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੈਟ ਰਜੀਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨਾਇਬ ਤਹਿਸੀਲਦਾਰ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੁੱਖ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਥਾਣਾ ਸਿਟੀ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਤੇ ਐਸ.ਆਈ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਇੰਚ: ਪੁਲਿਸ ਚੋਕੀ ਕੇ.ਐਸ.ਐਮ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਟੀਮ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਥਾਂਵਾ ‘ਤੇ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚਾਰ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ 05 ਬੱਚੇ ਜੋ 18 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਸਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਜ਼ਾਇਜ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਐਸ.ਓ.ਐਸ (ਬਾਲ ਪਿੰਡ) ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੁਕਾਨਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੇਬਰ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ ਪਦਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਲਾਨ ਕੱਟੇ ਗਏ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਜੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਸੁਣਵਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 10 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ 50 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੱਕ ਦਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਲਾਕਾ ਨਿਵਾਸੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਬਾਲ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੋਸਣ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਲ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਦੁਕਾਨਦਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਅਦਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕਾ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਬਾਲ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਰੋਕੀ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ਇਹ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੇਂ-ਸਮੇਂ ‘ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਿਜੈ ਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਦੀ ਸਰਪ੍ਰਸਤੀ ‘ਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ਤਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਦੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਤਹਿਤ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਨਾ ਇਮਤਿਹਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਹਿੱਤ ‘ਈਚ ਵਨ ਆਸਕ ਵਨ’ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਚਲਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਰੇਖ ‘ਚ ਚਲਾਈ ਗਈ ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਠਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਫਸਰ (ਸੈ.) ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਹਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ਤਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਲਈ ਈਚ ਵਨ ਆਸਕ ਵਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਉਲੀਕਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੀ ਸੋਚ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਦਾ ਸਹੀ ਜਵਾਬ ਪਤਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸਦੀ ਦੁਹਰਾਈ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ੰਕਾ ਹੂੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸਦਾ ਸ਼ੰਕਾ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਡੀ.ਐਮ. ਕੁਲਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ ‘ਈਚ ਵਨ ਆਸਕ ਵਨ’ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਗਲਿਸ਼ ਬੂਸਟਰ ਕਲੱਬ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਸਰਵੇਖਣ, ਘਰ ਬੈਠੇ ਆਨ ਲਾਈਨ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਆਦਿ ਹਨ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੌਸ਼ਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਨਿਖਾਰ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ।ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਵਾਂਗ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਵੀ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਲਈ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਬਤਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦੇਣੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੀ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਵਧਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ‘ਈਚ ਵਨ ਆਸਕ ਵਨ’ ਵੀ ਜੁੜ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਜਾਂ ਬਡੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਠਕ੍ਰਮ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੋੜ ਪੈਣ ‘ਤੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਸ਼ੰਕਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਵਾਰਣ ਵੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾ ਲੀਨਾ ਖੰਨਾ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਕਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ਼ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨਵੇਂ ਕੀਰਤੀਮਾਨ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਸਾਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਕ੍ਰਿਸਮਿਸ ਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਵ ਸੰਧਿਆ ‘ਤੇ ਰਾਤ 11.55 ਤੋਂ ਅਗਲੀ ਸਵੇਰ 12.30 ਵਜੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਹੀ ਚਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਸਕਣਗੇ ਗਰੀਨ ਪਟਾਕੇ

ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਵਧੀਕ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਮੈਜਿਸਟਰੇਟ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਸਿਆਲ ਗਰੇਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਫੌਜਦਾਰੀ ਜਾਬਤਾ ਸੰਘਤਾ 1973 (1974 ਦਾ ਐਕਟ ਨੰ: 2) ਦੀ ਧਾਰਾ 144 ਅਧੀਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਏ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ ਅੰਦਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਮਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਵ ਸੰਧਿਆ ‘ਤੇ ਰਾਤ 11:55 ਪੀ.ਐਮ ਤੋਂ 12:30 ਏ.ਐਮ. ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਿਰਫ ਗਰੀਨ ਪਟਾਕੇ ਚਲਾਉਣ/ਵਜਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਕਤ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਪਟਾਕੇ ਚਲਾਉਣ ‘ਤੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।

पटियाला 22 दिसंबर, सर्दियों का मौसम चरम पर है और इससे निमोनिया जैसी बीमारियों का खतरा है। यह बैक्टीरिया, वायरस और कवक के साथ फेफड़ों में संक्रमण के कारण होने वाली बीमारी है, जो फेफड़ों में एक तरल पदार्थ जमा करके, रक्त और ऑक्सीजन के प्रवाह में बाधा डालती है। बच्चों को निमोनिया का सबसे अधिक खतरा होता है क्योंकि उनकी प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली काफी मजबूत नहीं होती है और उनके फेफड़े पूरी तरह से विकसित नहीं होते हैं। शोध के अनुसार, भारत में हर साल लगभग 10 लाख बच्चों की मृत्यु निमोनिया से होती है। कोबिड-19 जैसी महामारी में निमोनिया और भी घातक सिद्ध हो सकता है I

Patiala 22nd Dec 2020, winter season is just around the corner and with it comes a risk of diseases like Pneumonia. It is a disease caused due to the infection in lungs with bacteria, viruses and fungus obstructing the flow of blood and oxygen, by depositing a fluid in the lungs. Children are at the highest risk of pneumonia as their immune system is not strong enough and their lungs are not completely developed. According to research, about 10 lakh children in India, die from pneumonia each year.
“Babies and young children may develop pneumonia from respiratory syncytial virus and infants may get it from group B streptococcus at birth. Older children may suffer from pneumonia as the result of other bacterial or viral infections. Cough and fever are two of pneumonia’s main symptoms. Other symptoms include weakness, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, headache, muscle pain, and trouble breathing. A doctor should be consulted immediately if any of these symptoms are observed in children”, said Dr. Neeraj Arora Consultant Neonatologist & Pediatrician Columbia Asia Hospital, Patiala
It is crucial for people to be aware about the causes and prevention measures for Pneumonia in order to save their children from this dreaded disease.
